lyrics

And then the smoke clears.
The vault doors lie shattered on the floor.
These kids have life in their eyes as the sirens pull in closer.
They could have been the richest kids alive,
but what would they do with a title like that.

It’s not about what you think
It’s not what you’re trying to do to me.
Cop cars, at every corner,
yet there’s no tension in the air.
The kids yell ‘stick-up’, like it matters.
Warm blood rushing through my vains,
pushed by art and everything creative.
(There’s no paper involved in that.)

And now they’re standing there,
Disguised as villains, in peaceful protest.
Black leather jackets seem to stick out like soar thumbs.
But they could have been the richest kids alive.
